About Me
As a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Child Study Center–Long Island, I am dedicated to fostering the mental and emotional wellbeing of young people. Growing up as the son of a physician, I was inspired by my father’s dedication to his patients and developed a keen interest in human behavior. This passion for healthcare and psychology naturally led me to specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry, where I find immense fulfillment in supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
I specialize in diagnosing and treating a range of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents, including mood and anxiety disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Tourette syndrome and tic disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. With more than a decade of experience, I am committed to providing comprehensive care that includes medication management when appropriate, as well as recommending educational and therapeutic interventions tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement and the importance of staying informed on the latest research and clinical investigations. My team and I ensure that our treatment approaches are both current and effective. We believe in the power of a collaborative approach, working closely with families to build trust and rapport, ensuring that children receive the care and support they need to thrive.
I pursued my medical education with a focus on psychiatry, driven by the belief that mental health is a crucial component of overall wellness. At NYU Langone, I am proud to be part of a dedicated team providing the highest standard of coordinated care for our patients. Together, we strive to create a supportive environment where children and adolescents can achieve their fullest potential.
