Research Summary
I've always had a deep fascination for exploring difficult philosophical questions including what are the reasons for consciousness, how does it all work, and why do we suffer? These kinds of questions, along with several formative personal experiences led to my eventual pursuit in a career in psychology.
I graduated from the Ferkauf School of Psychology, Yeshiva University and completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai specializing in rehabilitation medicine and neuropsychology. I’ve also published research papers on sleep, memory, and brain injury.
Currently, I am a senior rehabilitation psychologist at NYU Langone Rusk Rehabilitation Center and provide comprehensive services including neuropsychological assessment, cognitive remediation therapy, and psychotherapy in the adult outpatient unit. I focus on helping individuals facing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes resulting from neurological disorders and brain injury. One of my primary objectives is to assist individuals in identifying their strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to lead more fulfilling and successful personal and professional lives.
Working at NYU Langone Medical Center allows me to stay at the forefront of advancements in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology while delivering patients the highest standard of care in a collaborative and interdisciplinary way. With my analytic skill set, an approach characterized by full transparency, and a genuine aim to reduce overall suffering in the world, I am committed to helping individuals regain their cognitive functioning, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
