Spending my professional life serving the needs of women throughout their lifespan has been an honor. I specialize in the care of people in the perimenopausal transition and beyond—that is, those who are beginning the changes that come with perimenopause, those in menopause, and those experiencing postmenopausal changes.

Hormonal transitions that accompany menopause can be challenging, both physically and mentally. I offer screening, education, and counseling about treatments that can help women feel better. These treatments may include hormonal therapies, nonhormonal prescriptions, and lifestyle changes incorporating diet and exercise. I love watching patients become empowered, healthy, and strong.

At the Center for Midlife Health and Menopause, our focus is on providing holistic, high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care. We fill any gaps in the clinical care of midlife women with the goal of maximizing their health.

I have been a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health for more than 20 years. I received my doctorate in nursing in 2014 from Duke University, where I focused on improving the clinical care of menopausal women. I am also certified as a menopause clinician through the North American Menopause Society and a member of the organization's board of trustees. This illustrates my expertise in the care of menopausal women based on the most recent evidence available.
