Michael Basseyn, MD

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by medicine and the opportunity it provides to continually learn and form relationships with people. I found neurology to be an incredibly exciting field for its rapid discovery of new diseases and treatments, and realized it was my calling.

I treat patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, and neuromuscular disorders. With a subspecialty in neurophysiology, I most often see patients with nervous system disorders. I utilize the most advanced diagnostic imaging available to provide expert care.

As a neuro-hospitalist, I work with multiple specialists to develop a coordinated treatment plan for the management of hospitalized patients. Every patient receives individualized follow-up care after discharge to ensure the continuity of care.
