NYU Langone’s Anticoagulation Center assists patients who are required to take anticoagulant medications that prevent or treat blood clots. Often referred to as blood thinners, some of these pills require routine blood testing with a target international normalized ratio (INR) of 3. Our team is led by a board-certified hematologist specializing in clotting disorders and board-certified nurse practitioners who are highly trained in anticoagulation therapy management.

If you are interested in becoming a patient, your primary care provider can send a referral through NYU Langone’s MyChart or fax a referral to 646-501-7697. Patients are seen by appointment only, Mondays through Fridays from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, and please contact your carrier to confirm your coverage.
