Reception and Patient Waiting Area

Our team of doctors and staff from the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine specializes in emergency medicine and is available anytime, day or night, to treat everything from illness to injuries.

Located within Tisch Hospital, the advanced technology and spacious design of the 22,000-square-foot Perelman Emergency Center allows us to treat patients quickly and efficiently.

Among the facility’s features are:

  • 40 emergency care spaces
  • rapid imaging services, including X-ray and CT scanning
  • space for family members at the bedside
  • rooms designed to ensure patient privacy and enhance infection control
  • access to a state-of-the-art observation unit to monitor your condition if necessary

We also offer a wide range of specialty services, including the KiDS Emergency Department for children and their families, and the Comprehensive Stroke Center, which has earned advanced certification from The Joint Commission. This designation recognizes our commitment to having specialists available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide the highest level of stroke care.
