About Me
At NYU Langone Psychiatry Associates, I specialize in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. I see individuals and lead skills groups for people in need of crisis management or who have emotion dysregulation or interpersonal difficulties. I also work with people who have anxiety and depressive symptoms associated with infertility, pregnancy, or work and family balance.
I’m trained in several treatment approaches, which allows me to cater to the individual needs of my patients. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for groups and individuals, prolonged exposure therapy for trauma, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and transference-focused therapy (TFP). For some patients and in some circumstances, I offer online doctor visits through the NYU Langone Health app.
As part of NYU Langone, I’m able to offer people a wide network of resources and support that is unique to a large academic medical center. I collaborate with our team of specialists to provide the best possible care and treat a range of mental health conditions.
In addition to providing care, I also teach psychiatric residents at NYU School of Medicine.
