As an orthopedic surgeon at NYU Langone Orthopedic Associates—Midtown East and NYU Langone Medical Associates — Penn District, I am dedicated to helping patients recover from sports injuries and joint pain, enabling them to return to the activities they love. I specialize in treating patients with a wide range of sports injuries and degenerative conditions, including knee, shoulder, elbow, and hip issues, as well as shoulder replacement surgery and trauma surgery for fractures. With extensive training in cutting-edge technology, I offer comprehensive treatments such as non-operative rehabilitation, specialized injections, including platelet-rich plasma, stem cells, and bone marrow aspirate concentrate, and minimally invasive surgical procedures. My experience as a team physician for professional athletes, including the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Cubs, ensures that my patients receive top-tier care, whether they are competitive athletes or individuals looking to maintain an active lifestyle.

Throughout my career, I have focused on treating conditions like shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff tears, knee ligament and meniscus tears, and cartilage injuries. My own experiences as a competitive soccer player have fueled my passion for sports medicine and my understanding of the importance of a quick and efficient recovery. My goal is to help patients return to their sports, work, or daily activities as soon as possible.

I completed my medical education at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University, followed by a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at McMaster University Medical Center. I further honed my expertise with a sports medicine fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, where I had the privilege of treating professional athletes during events such as the NBA Draft Combine and MLB spring training. Additionally, I completed a second fellowship in upper extremity and trauma surgery at the University of Toronto, specializing in conditions of the shoulder, elbow, and wrist, and managing fractures throughout the body.

With numerous research publications and presentations at national and international conferences, I am committed to advancing the field of orthopedic surgery. My dedication has earned me multiple awards recognizing my contributions to improving patient outcomes.
