Plastic Surgery Resident Clinic

All of our cosmetic procedures can also be performed by plastic surgery residents at our plastic surgery resident clinic. Our residents are medical doctors pursuing advanced training in the Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone. As one of the nation’s premier plastic surgery training programs, our residents are highly skilled in the art of cosmetic surgery. Because this is an educational program, fees for all services and procedures provided by residents are significantly discounted.

Patients are initially seen and evaluated by our chief resident in plastic surgery. This is a doctor who is in his or her sixth and final year of training and who is supervised by the attending physician, who is a board-certified plastic surgeon. The attending physician is present during your surgery. The resident sees you for all of your pre-treatment and after-care visits, and the attending is available at any time if needed.
