About Me
As a clinical psychologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to fostering a compassionate and understanding environment for my patients. My philosophy of care centers on the belief in our shared humanity. I find immense fulfillment in helping individuals navigate their struggles and bring more compassion and understanding to their lives.
I specialize in treating anxiety, mood fluctuations including depression, and trauma history. Additionally, I address cultural and identity issues stemming from immigrant experiences, gender and sexuality-related experiences, and significant life changes. Over the years, I have honed my skills in various therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (Level 1 trained by the end of 2024), self-compassion, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My commitment to continuous learning ensures that I am always equipped with the latest techniques to best support my patients.
Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement and patient–provider care. I run a self-compassion group and offer online doctor visits through the NYU Langone Health app, ensuring accessibility and convenience for my patients. My approach is rooted in building strong partnerships with my patients, understanding their unique backgrounds, and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
My journey into psychology began in high school, inspired by an exceptional teacher who introduced me to the basics of the field. This early interest grew into a lifelong pursuit of learning and helping others. My career has been driven by a deep commitment to understanding and alleviating human suffering. At NYU Langone, I am part of a dedicated team providing coordinated and comprehensive care.
