Cardiac Testing

• cardioversion to restore a normal heart rhythm
• electrocardiography to measure the electrical activity in the heart
• electrophysiology consults and follow-up exams
• event monitoring and Holter monitoring to analyze heart rhythm
• implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) follow-up, interrogation, and reprogramming
• pacemaker follow-up, interrogation, and reprogramming
• T-wave alternans testing to determine risk of life-threatening arrhythmia

Heart Valve Disease Treatment

Doctors from NYU Langone’s Transcatheter Heart Valve Program provide nonsurgical treatment for aortic valve disease, mitral valve disease, and triscuspid valve disease. Transcatheter-based treatments use a small incision to advance a catheter to the affected valve, which is repaired or replaced.
