We meet the healthcare needs of the entire family through programs that focus on primary and specialized medical care, dentistry, and social support services.
View All Family Health CentersOur team provides the care women need before, during, and after pregnancy. We also address all of your gynecologic healthcare needs, including contraception care and menopause management.
We offer preconception and nutrition counseling as well as disease screening to put you on the road toward a healthy pregnancy. Free pregnancy testing is available seven days a week, and no appointment is necessary.
During pregnancy, we offer routine ultrasound exams and prenatal classes onsite. We provide genetic counseling and testing, including amniocentesis to test for conditions such as Down syndrome and spina bifida. Our maternal–fetal specialists provide advanced care if your pregnancy is considered high risk due to conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or preterm labor.

Schedule a Childbirth Information SessionWe use the CenteringPregnancy group model of prenatal care. Through shared medical appointments, we bring women together to share their experiences, learn from each other, and form a support network.
Our services go beyond routine pregnancy care. We also offer assistance with social support services and can connect you with resources to help with housing, food, and financial assistance. Our behavioral health counselors can help with any emotional or psychological challenges you are experiencing, including anxiety and postpartum depression.

We also provide treatment for urinary incontinence, abnormal uterine bleeding, and uterine fibroids.
We provide general checkups, immunizations, and health screenings for newborns, children, and youth up to age 21. We also provide hearing exams and screenings for tuberculosis, anemia, and lead exposure. We monitor your child’s development and behavior, providing guidance when necessary to make sure he or she is growing well.
If your child has a serious or chronic health problem, such as asthma, diabetes, or conditions that affect the heart, kidney, nervous system, blood, or lungs, we provide care and referral services to doctors who can provide specialized treatment.

Primary and specialty medical care for men and women is available at Sunset Park Family Health Center at NYU Langone—55th Street.
Find a Primary Care DoctorFor adolescents and teenagers, we offer health education on topics such as substance abuse, AIDS, and sexually transmitted infections. Psychosocial counseling is available. Reproductive health services, including access to birth control, are available for young adults.
We also provide walk-in urgent care for children who are primary care patients in our practice.

Office hours for our children’s health program are Monday through Thursday from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, Friday from 8:00AM to 7:00PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
