At NYU Langone’s Heart Rhythm Center—Brooklyn, our doctors, part of NYU Langone Heart, diagnose and treat conditions that affect the heart’s rhythm. We take a patient-centered approach to care that prioritizes your needs, while using the latest technology to ensure you have the best possible care.

Advanced Heart Rhythm Care

NYU Langone’s Heart Rhythm Center team provides the most advanced arrhythmia treatment at our locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and on Long Island.

Learn More About the Heart Rhythm Center

Our team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation (AFib) and atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), as well as genetic and acquired disorders that affect the heart’s ability to maintain a normal rhythm.

Our doctors, who are part of NYU Langone’s Heart Rhythm Center, work with you to develop an individualized treatment strategy focused on improving symptoms and meeting goals established during consultation. We use electrophysiology studies to determine the cause of fast and slow heart rhythms, called arrhythmias. Our team can treat fast heart rhythms with catheter ablation, a minimally invasive treatment that requires only a small incision in the groin and allows you to go home the same day.

We also place cardiac devices to treat and monitor abnormal heart rhythms. Our team implants pacemakers to treat slow heart rhythms caused by bradycardia and heart block, and loop recorders for arrhythmia monitoring. We conduct remote monitoring for cardiac devices, allowing us to closely follow our patient’s rhythms and device function.

Our Locations

Our team performs electrophysiology studies, cardiac device placement, and most ablation procedures at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. If you have been diagnosed with a complex condition, our doctors also perform procedures at the advanced electrophysiology suite at NYU Langone’s Kimmel Pavilion in Manhattan.

Outpatient doctor’s visits, including follow-up appointments after a procedure, take place at NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Bay Ridge.
